The Story of Student-Made
Discovering students who had an incredible talent AND were growing a business while in college seemed like something everyone on campus should know about. However, the common story was that these student-artists were only selling their work to a few close friends on campus, or a small customer base in their hometown. They were all struggling to reach the support of their own campus community! With the desire to solve this huge missing potential, Student-Made began in 2017 as a holiday pop-up event on the founders’ campus. Our mission continues to evolve— as we expand to more campuses, and grow a stronger network of support than ever before…
HEALING THROUGH CREATIVITY WITH EMILY MARTIN
“I am healing through creativity, I want our customers to as well. I hope that my designs accentuate their personality and that they let their confidence of who they truly are shine through when they wear their one-of-a-kind piece.”
CREATING COMMUNITY WITH SUMMER ROGERS
“I began painting in high school and as I made more and more pieces, I was encouraged to begin selling some of my art after recently returning from a mission trip to Haiti as a means to pay for my trip back after falling in love with the children there.”
HOW NATURE INSPIRES WITH ADDIE MAGYAR
“I hope that the art that I create brings that same energetic feeling for whoever ends up with one of my pieces. I hope that my art can capture the beauty of my surroundings, and ultimately I hope that my art makes people happy.”
