Our Mission

Provide an effective platform for creative student-entrepreneurs to grow their business on-campus and beyond. And, enable unmatched, hands-on experience for a team of student managers behind-the-scenes.

In partnership with Innovation & Entrepreneurship Centers, we build a customized marketplace platform for your campus— and curate frequent collaboration, networking, and sales opportunities.

Features of Student-Made UNIVERSITY

customized Online marketplace for your campus

Creative student-entrepreneurs at ‘university’ can sell their products, showcase their unique brand, and be effectively promoted to their campus community through a professional online shop, with built-in shipping and tax-collection solutions.

Frequent Pop-Up Shops

Student-business owners can connect with supporters face-to-face, and gain valuable market insight into what their potential customers are looking for. For many students just starting their venture, this provides a supportive group environment to take that brave leap!

A team of 7 student-managers on campus gains hands-on experience in a startup environment everyday, as they coordinate several aspects of program operation on campus. Being partnered with Entrepreneurship Centers provides added guidance and resources to fuel this team’s success.

A supportive network of campuses

Of course student-entrepreneurs will reach more supporters on their own campus— but the limits are far greater than that. On our platform, student-entrepreneurs gain access to customers throughout our entire network— and manger teams collaborate together to learn best practices.

An effectively managed shop experience includes simple systems for product uploading, order processing and shipping.

The feedback has been incredible and everyone loves supporting students while also showcasing beautiful campus artwork in their offices or homes. On a broader scale, the Office of Alumni Affairs has promoted Student-Made on social media and via email, where a high level of interest was shown from alumni. In the email newsletter where Student Made was included, it was the top link clicked, with 460 total clicks.
