Lindsay’s Letter is a note of encouragement & inspiration for our creative community, offered as a monthly resource. Today I was inspired to write about one overlooked superpower we all have access to, everyday.

We’re so glad you’re hear to reflect back on the past month with us… here’s what we’ve been up to.

“I had to really sit with myself and understand that there is no clear road path. Obviously there have been thousands of successful artists, but every single one has done it differently So it’s just about learning how you can do it, and how you can get better at it every single day.”

“I no longer burden myself with producing work for the spectacle. Instead, I pour a bit of myself into everything I make in order to bring joy to my supporters, whom I do not chase nor beg for recognition. I revive old materials that would otherwise find themselves in a landfill. In essence, each of my customers receives a sculpture that adorns their body.”

“I absolutely love pop-ups at Clemson. They provide creators with an amazing opportunity to interact with customers in-person, and share their creativity with the community. I know all of the creators were super excited with the turnout of the pop-up. I think both the location and the creators’ charisma helped with the great success of the event.”

Lindsay’s Letter is a helpful resource for our creative community, where we get to share our experiences & lessons learned along the journey of growing Student-Made. Today I was inspired to write about one particular outcome of our modern, “efficiency-happy” lives.

“I have considered myself an artist for some years now, but it was not until I joined the Student-Made community, that I held a new sense of inspiration and excitement for the craft that I love!”
